Where can I find an adapter for a garden hose to hook-up to our kitchen sink?
We don’t have a hook-up outside for a water house. How can we run a hose from our kitchen sink and where would we buy the adapter?

Technically, what you are looking for is not legal (in Virginia) and I doubt you will find one. There are strict rules about hooking hoses to sinks without what is known as a backflow preventer where the hose connects. Plus, if you are planning on doing anything other than filling a bucket or watering plants by hand, you won’t get much pressure or volume out of the faucet.
There is something you can do yourself as a quick fix that will give you enough water to wash a car or run a sprinkler though. There are a couple of things I need to know about your plumbing (type of pipe, crawl space?, basement?, exposed pipe under sink). If it suits you, please contact me directly and I can guide you through the process fairly quickly. For about $30 and less than an hour’s time you can have a real hose bibb even with minimal experience.
Depends upon your kitchen sink. If there’s an aerator on the faucet, you may be able to unscrew the fitting. Take the fitting to your hardware store and find an adapter that has the appropriate mating fitting on one end and a hose-end on the other.
You can find an adapter at just about any store like wal-mart / kmart . just go and look for a water bed refill kit which costs about $10.00 . You might even try the hardware store like ace or Lowe’s.
