What should i be careful of when installing a small water heater under my kitchen sink?
My hot water heater is in the attic and it takes several inutes for hot water to reach the kitchen faucett. I want to install a small electric hot water heater under the kitchen sink to reheat the water. Do i need to run a drain pipe outside for the pop off or just put a large pan under the heater?

Just plumb the TPR valve into your drain. But I would not recommend just putting a pan under heater. If the TPR valve releases as it is supposed to the water will run until you shut it off. This could cause extensive damage. I think most all local code require drains on TPR valves.
