Kitchen sink backup with significant water pressure?
When my dishwasher sends water to kitchen sink to drain there is a back up and water leaks out. Also, if there is significant water flow from the faucet the drain leaks. Under normal flow, the water moves through the pipes just fine. I’m stumped, anyone with any thoughts?

I had a very similar situation several times–and just had it recently. The problems in my house have been a “slow drain”. In other words, the plumbing was partially clogged, so that water could drain, but not as fast as it sometimes needed to.
My solution was to use a snake to clear the problem. There should be a “clean out” under your sink and in other places, that allow you to run a snake (or auger) through the pipe.
There are simple, cheap tools to handle this, and there are more expensive ones. I have tried the cheapest and the fairly cheap. Since I am just a “desk job” guy, these were frustrating. I got a “Ridgid Auto spin” auger, for $139 at homedepot. It is very, very easy to use and very little clean up. One or two times saves the price of a plumber.
Once clear, you can dump a stock pot full of boiling water (or just a sink full of hot tap) occasionally through the kitchen sink to clear it. Also, avoid “stringy vegetables” going through the garbage disposal. I dump most waste in the trash in an effort to avoid the problem.
Hope this helps.
