If i have a single bowl kitchen sink is it a good idea or not to have a garbage disposal on the drain?

I want to install a single bowl kitchen sink. And I want a garbage disposal. What are you suggestions or advice on putting a garbage disposal on the only drain of a single bowl sink?

Not a thing wrong with it. It is just a drain when not used to grind waste up. It’s still a drain even while grinding because you should have your water running in the bowl while doing so.

I don’t see any problem at all, look underneath to make sure you have room but I have seen any number of these that worked just fine. Had one in the house I grew up in.

Mine is a single bowl sink and I have a garbage disposal…. wouldn’t go without one…

I just remodeled my kitchen. It was suggested I install a single bowl sink with a disposal. That is what I did and I love it. All my pans fit in just fine. I would highly suggest the disposal. It will just be a drain when you aren’t “disposing”.
