When you put in the kitchen sink, and it has those weird ledges, that those funny looking brackets fit into, to pull the sink down? How do you put those in?

It would be nearly impossible to explain to you over this medium how to install the hold down clips for a new kitchen sink, so you could understand the procedure. You would be much better off going to your local home improvement store, where you probably purchased the sink and ask one of their knowledgeable sales associates for some instruction on the installation of these things. There are usually two different types of connections used. One is a slot like railing attached to the underside of the sink edge, with a few places along the slot that are slightly larger than the rest of the run. This is where the clip slides into the rail, with the teeth facing up and you tighten the ***** from underneath, drawing the teeth into the underside of the countertop and pulling the sink down tight. The second type is simply a ledge railing onto which you catch one side of the clip and the other side with the teeth, again, goes up to catch the countertop when you tighten the *****.
