How do i make my cat stop pissing in the kitchen sink?
I have 3 cat boys , but one of them its just a little devil , very smart but very independent in his actions, when ever he doesnt get food when he wants then he is pissing in the kitchen sink , dont get me wrong that i dont feed them , I DO !! and enough , hard food is there non stop and 3 times a day soft one. So usually he does it in the middle of the night when i sleep or when we are away from home too long. I really tryed everything, i put him with his nouse in there , i spray him with water, and i can see the little ******* understand its wrong and that i **** it but still he does it, because after he does it and i just give him a look about what he just did he runs out and look guilty , or other times he just give that bad look like he did it in purpose.
Any other suggestions ??
They are all doing there stuff outside in the garden i dont need a pot in the house.
Hey , thx a lot to all serious answears

Fill your sink with water, or rub orange peel around the edge, cats dont like the smell of citrus oil.
after you rub his nose in and tell him BAD KITTY, take him to the litter box grab his paws and scratch in the box.
If he isn’t neutered that could be a soultion.
Put a cookie sheet over the sink. OK maybe I’m just obsessed with cookies right now, because I have made 3 batches already. But really, it might work, especially if he knocks it off and it crashes on the floor, that might make him wake up!
there are lots of chemicals you can get from the pet stop to spray around the area to stop the cat from ****** there that work to a varing degree, but…
I know this may sound weird but if you know someone that has a dog, ask them to collect the dogs *** for you and spray that where you dont want the cats to pee, and yes I am serious!
It really, really works I swear! and its certainly cheaper than the chemicals that you buy and that dont always work.
Good Luck
There are all kinds of reasons for kitties not going in their boxes and I firmly believe that spite can be one of them. But having said that, it is also extremely important to determine if this is a behavioral problem or a medical one.
Urinary tract infections, crystals in the urine and a narrow or partially blocked urethra can all cause cats pain so they assosiate the box with a painful activity and choose not to use it.
Intact males (non-neutered) can also try to mark what they think of as territory so if he isn’t neutered get that fixed. I also agree with the person who said to leave water in the sink but be careful that he doesn’t find another place to do his business that isn’t as easy to clean as the sink! Good luck,
Punishing him does NOTHING unless you catch him in the act. What you’re most likely teaching him is that it is bad to ***. Pushing their nose into it does not force them to recognize the action, nor does spraying him once its been done.
I would say, find some way to cover your kitchen sink when you go to bed, even if it’s just with plastic wrap. Also, keep an eye on him. Cats that *** in odd places sometimes have a urinary tract infection. Does he meow a lot when he goes where you keep the litter box? Has he peed in other weird, smooth places? Take him to the vet and get him checked out. Don’t worry about paying for all the tests if he’s younger than 8 years old, because it’s often inconclusive. If your vet tells you he has a urinary tract infection, just get him on the medicine.
Also, it seems as though you may be over feeding your cats. It is not necessary to have that much food for them all the time.
Hi there…cats who generally soil inappropriately may be due to several of the following possibilities such as:
- changes with litter brands
- location of the litter box isn’t private enough
- some cats like to have one box to defecate and another to urinate
- cleanliness (some cats are very finicky and prefer a super clean box)
- as a general rule some if there are more than one cats in the home cats feel intimidated by sharing litter boxes so it may be helpful to offer one for each plus an extra box
- unaltered male/female cats over the age of 5-7 months become sexually mature and territorially mark with either ********* or **********.
If all these have been ruled out, there’s a chance that your cat may have developed another underlying medical problem which can contribute to accidents outside of the box. Cats will associate pain while using box and change their habits as a result.
Here’s an article about why cats inappropriately soil outside their litter box by Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine:
House soiling is the most common behavior problem reported by cat owners. It includes ********* and/or ********** outside the litter box, as well as urine spraying.
Why do cats eliminate outside of the litter box?
One common misconception is that cats soil in inappropriate places for revenge. It is tempting to conclude, “He ********* on the living room carpet to punish me for leaving him for the weekend.” But this kind of calculation requires sophisticated cognitive abilities that cats aren’t believed to possess. Furthermore, this conclusion assumes that cats view their urine and ***** as distasteful, when in fact they do not. It is only we humans who view it that way.
Medical Problems
So why do cats urinate or defecate on your bed or carpet? Medical problems are one possibility. Inflammation of the urinary tract may cause painful or frequent urination, inability to urinate, bloody urine, and crying during *********. An affected cat is likely to eliminate outside the litter box if he comes to associate the box with painful urination, or if he has an increased urgency to urinate. In addition, kidney, liver, and thyroid diseases often lead to increased drinking and *********. Inflammation of the colon or rectum, intestinal tract tumors, intestinal parasites, and other gastrointestinal conditions may cause painful defecation, increased frequency or urgency to defecate, and decreased control of **********. Age-related diseases that interfere with a cat’s mobility (for example, arthritis, nervous system disorders, or muscular diseases), or with his cognitive functions can also influence his ability to get to the litter box in time. In short, any medical condition that interferes with a cat’s normal elimination behavior can lead to house soiling.
Litter Box Aversions
Behavioral problems, such as litter box aversions, inappropriate site preferences, or urine spraying can also lead to house soiling. An aversion implies that there is something about the litter box that your cat finds unsavory. It could be the box, the litter, the location of the box, or all three.

try putting a piece of cardboard in the sink(when you are not using it, of course). cut it out to fit it perfectly and line it with double sided tape. the cat hates the tape on its paws and will eventually **** to go in there - to a point where you will be able to remove the cardboard. or try laying aluminum foil on it they ate foil on there feet too. he is doing this as an attention getter - so if he does it, ignore him. if the sink is clear - pay extra “special” attention to him, right by the sink, showing him the sink and saying good boy - etc etc. i know it sounds weird, but it worked for me. my 6 year old was pooping on the floor by the litter box - right in front of us sometimes. he hated it when we would ignore him completely and the behavior changed.
oh yeah- get him checked too there is a chance there is a he may have an infection too. but once you rule out that - then go for the behavior issue.
Sorry but you do need a litter box inside the house. Keep a little water in the sink, it’s simple. He may need to be neutered. He could also have urineary track problems. Boy cats can have serious problems with this and he could die from that.Stop calling your cat dirty names! Don’t rub his nose in it. He won’t know why you are doing that! He knows that you **** him! Admit it!
You call him devil and *******! Maybe he senses that you don’t like him. Poor little boy, he has a human who doesn’t even like him! Find another home for him one where he will be loved,Kept inside and taken care of.
Start by putting a fresh, clean litter box close to the sink, this gives him an alternative. Then, my most effective cat training tool is mouse traps. Spray some of ur perfume on a few mouse traps, set the and pet them in the sink. When he climbs in he will get the scare from the snap, and he will smell ur scent and know the deal. Male cats are always climbing a social ladder and challenging authority. The best way is to counter his bad behavior with tactics, if you dont like the mousetraps, try lining the sink w/ something unpleasant that will get on his feet. He has the forethought to do it when you are not around, but not the foresight to know you are onto his ways. He needs to be convinced you can reach him even when u are asleep.
put out a litter box mabey he will relize its there
and evey time he peas in the sink gently woop him
Take some of the urine from the sink, spread it around the ring of the drain to your bathtub.
Put him in the tub, lead him to the drain, let him smell it, he will then void.
Praise him. He will then start ********* right into the drain.
Try it, it works.
Good luck.

you should maybe potty train him dahhhhhhhhh
