How do I keep my kittens off the kitchen counter & out of the kitchen sink?
I recently adopted 2 kittens and they just love to climb on my kitchen counters and in the sink when I am not around. I have caught them doing this a few times and usually they will jump down when they see me. But is there a way to keep them off those surfaces? I heard using a cleanser with and Orange scent supposedly works (I tried it..didnt work for me). Any suggestions?

well, one thing we used to do is we would ****** her with a ****** gun. When she’s on the couter you should ****** her once and wait for her to get off, and if she still doesn’t ****** her again. Hope it worx!
Have you tried actual orange peel? Take the peel, fold and squeeze it near the cats. They **** the spray that comes out. Then try leaving the peel in and around the sink. If you catch them at it again, immediately squeeze the peel in their direction (close enough so they feel it). Soon, they should start to associate the orange peel with the counter/sink. This method worked with my cat for a similar problem. Good luck!
Pour a capful of bleach or ammonia down the drain. They are going after smells we can’t smell. Since everyone shares the sewer system, they could smell someones tuna fish or fish fillets from elsewhere and be drawn to the drain. The smell from the items I mentioned will distract them from climbing up and getting in the sink. You can put up aluminum foil on the counter, once a cat hits that and hears the sound, usually they won’t go back. You can also use this method on corners of furniture they use for scratching posts and they won’t return. Good luck.
I’d put plants in the sink, and use fertiliser that cats don’t like (you can get specialised ones). Decorate your worktop with a few plants and pots full of this fertiliser. When your cats seem to be getting used to it, change your fertiliser.
Cats on the kitchen counter…..yum yum, just when thy’ve been in their sandbox of *** and ****. How LOVELY!
How’s that extra flavour of hair, litter, *** and **** on your sandwich??
I feel your pain but I’d get rid of the little evil beasts.
I bought two sided tape and put it on the counters when I left for work, when I came home the cat had been attacked by the tape and fear of it happening again, she stopped getting on the counters, she now wont jump onto anything she can’t see first, so she can make sure it’s not taped. Totally works!
I was having the same problem then I took a pop can and put small rocks in it along with some marbles and taped up the top good. And every time the cats get up on the counter you shake it!! It scares the living crap out of them and they run away.
