Try running some cut up citrus fruits down there once a day - like lemon, lime, or orange…that will make it smell better and the acid cuts down on the grease…
run some dishwasher detergent in the disposal along with some ice cubes….or go to the store and get some Plink (little yellow balls) they clean and deoderize your disposer.
To keep your disposer clean, once a week run ice and detergent or (real) lemons (cut into pieces), or bleach through it…
Try pouring some draino down both sides because clearly something down there is rotting and causing a stink. The draino should dissolve whatever it is, oh and maybe some bleach so get rid of the rank smell. Int he mean time just try covering up the drain to limit the smell until you get some draino!
If gunk has built up on the disposal blades or the pipe just below, it can get pretty fragrant.
Squeeze the juice from a lemon and save it for some other purpose. (Lemonade, anyone?) Cut up the flesh and rind into 8 or 10 pieces and send ‘em down the disposal one by one. Follow with a hot-water flush.
Another method that helps is sending ice cubes down. As it breaks up, its sharp edges dislodge some of the gunk.
Each is more convenient that living with a clothespin on your nose.
You can go to the grocery store & buy a special lemon scented foaming cleanser for your disposal. You plug the non disposal side & the directions are very easy to follow. It only takes a few minutes & it get’s rid of the stinky smell. I run this cleaner in my disposal, twice a month. Works great!!!
I always have some kind of citris fruit (lemons, limes, peels from an orange), then I cut them into sections and throw them down the disposal. I let it grind them enough so that they juice from the fruit and oil from the rind comes out and makes it smell a whole lot better. Also, if you can’t get to any fruit right now, you can use baking soda. Pour it right down in the disposal and run a little hot tap water and let it sit. Works great!
There are several things 1) Pour a cup of baking soda down both drains follow with a half cup of vinegar when the bubbling stops pour hot water down the drains 2) use ice cubes down the disposal, also lemons down the disposal helps.run the disposal when you put the ice cubes down it.also when you cut up the lemon.Hope this helps
Fill an ice tray with vinegar and freeze it.
Dump some baking soda down the drain. Turn the disposal on and drop the vinegar cubes in one by one.
Rinse with hot water.
You may need to have your plumbing looked at. You should have a trap under your sink.
If it’s not that try vinager and baking soda.

Drop some ice in it with some citrus peels and turn it on
a box of baking soda and add vinegar let sit for an hour or so
Bleach….
These are one I have used before.
