How can we remove stains from our white cast iron kitchen sink?
Over time our sink has become stained. I can’t seem to get the stains out with soft scrub (which I’ve read may not be the best thing to have used in the 1st place) and comet (maybe that wasn’t a good idea either). In any event I can’t stand the stains in our sink, I feel like my kitchen is always dirty because of my stained sink. Please help : )

From the Kohler site:

For rust removal:
Bon Ami
Rinse thoroughly and use a soft cloth to wipe the product dry after each use.
In the rare occurrence of stubborn stains, use abrasive cleaners sparingly.
Do not use steel wool, wire brushes or abrasive
sponge pads.
Be careful not to leave dirty dishes, coffee grounds, tea bags or other staining materials in contact with the enamel surface for extended periods of time.
Consider kitchen sink accessories such as bottom basin racks and rinse baskets to help protect the surface from scratches.

I suggest you try cleaning it with Barkeepers Friend. You can usually find it in groceries. It takes very little for scuffs and cleaning and you may add some bleach to it if this doesn’t get the stains off.
hands down Jan C. is correct. Barkeepers friend is with out a doubt the one i would use any day. POWDER ONLY the liquid bites. it is perfect for brass too. its effortless.

i like this stuff called CLR. ihave also used Kaboom and it works well too!!
