How can i unclog my kitchen sink?

My kitchen sink is clogged with rice. We already used drano but it seems it didn’t work. Does anyone know of a way to unclog it?

Have you tried pouring a gallon of hot water down the drain?

Put on gloves and a face shield and take the p-trap off. Drano in the eye is bad.

use a drain snake to uncog it!!!!!!!!

Try to avoid using caustic drain cleaners next time. They can be dangerous to you and plumbing.
For this problem, you will need a plumbing auger (snake). Bail out the water in the sink, boil some water and pour it down the drain. This will cause the rice to swell and become soft and mushy. Then used the auger to break it up and hopefully it will go on its way. If you don’t have an auger, try a long piece of heavy gauge wire.

If you don’t want to use caustic drain cleaners, they sell compressed air in a can that should blow the rice down the drain. The drain cleaner needs time to work, you have to be patient.
