Help, how do i get what looks like rust stains off my kitchen sink?
help!! How do I get, what looks like little rust stains on my (I think) stainless steel kitchen sink. I dunno how they got there. please help

try sprinkling baking soda onto the stain. Then cut a lemon in half and scrub the spot with half of the lemon. works great and smells good too !!!
use soft scrub, go with the grain and it should come right off. If it doesn’t work the first time, scrub again, then set a damp paper towel over the area and leave it sit for a half hour, then rinse.


Stainless steel usually does not rust unless regular steel gets embedded into it. This can come from steel wool or anything that is not rust resistant You could look for some stainless steel wool, or a rust remover as it should not harm the stainless. Some scale removers will also remove rust. A scotch brite fine pad will also work extremely well. Just use it going with the polish marks already in the metal. Keep the sink dry for a day and it will re-passivate itself and be more rust resistant.
