Gurgling noises from the kitchen sink?
My kitchen sink gurgles after our humidifier in our basement now and then empties into our basement tub sink which then empties into a sewage pump that is pumped out of the house via the sewage pipe. We just installed a new dishwasher and it started there, but the gurgling occurred in the basement sink as well before that. Anyone have any ideas? I’m just hoping nothing’s backing up or broken… or expensive to fix.

Sounds like you have a partial blockage. As the water flows over the blockage it pulls air behind it .Thats probably what you can hear. You should look in to getting the line waterblasted.
Definitly a vent problem. If that has been happening forever, you may not have a vent. Check it. The problem otherwise becomes a a sanitary (health) one.Either unplug the existing one or install a missing one. Not difficult or expensive if access isn’t a problem.

sound like your air vent is clogged or your drain system you disind is enefishent ther is a vent on the roof that lets air in sometimes squralls fiill them up with nuts or leaves get in another thing is if you are going from sink to sink as a drain you might try getting rid of your elbow under kitchen sink and let free flow the air between kitchen and sink gugles the water in elbow by vacume
