Are all kitchen sink faucet sizes the same?
I have never done this yet. We rent, but our kitchen sink faucet is horrible and we want to get a new one, Is there a universal sink faucet size or is there a way of finding out what size ours is?

Most sinks and faucets are compatible. The sink usually has three holes to accommodate the water lines and hold down bolts. It is pretty much an industry standard.
Most are standard sizes…the wide one like on a kitchen sink and the smaller ones for the bathroom. If you really want to know climb under the sink and measure the distance between the water inlets. But before you do that bug spray and vacuum the entire area under the sink…some not so nice critters hang out there.
most all kitchen faucets are the same .there is some exceptions but few . just shut off the the shut off taps under your sink and remove the taps .all you need is a cresent wrench . take the taps out . go down to the hardware store and pick out the taps you like and install them. you will find that all the fittings are standard.
As mentioned before most sink faucets are 8″ on center. This 8″ on center is the distance between hot and cold inlets on the bottom of the faucet.

all faucets are standard… 4″ on center to the handles for bathrooms, 8″ on center for the kitchen… and the exception is there are some 8″ for the bathroom available…
